I have updated Missed Reminder to v. 0.9.5.
- Gmail notification about new emails. Experimental! Don’t forget to specify your google account in the settings like my.account@gmail.com
- New option to light the screen on – useful for phones without leds like Samsung Spica
- And hopefully fixed 100% wake time bug on HTC Hero

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. This was the best app out there for the job that it does. However, all of a sudden it has stopped working. I thought I would un-install it and then re-install it. However, after un-installing it, I can no longer find it in the market. What am I doing wrong ? Your early response will be appreciate. Regards

I would like to make two suggestions: (1) define hour range to deactivate (“night mode”) (2) define the behaviour depending on the proximity sensor, for example if you have the phone in the pocket: set the volume to maximum + activate the vibration + not lit the screen.

Whenever I set it up and try a “test run” it says some items are missed and I got my boyfriend to send me a text to see if it would work and nothing happened, how long of a delay period is there before it starts to notify me? Thanks. Samsun Droid Charge
you can´t also decide a time slot during which You will not be disturbed.

Hi, same problem here as tlinsenm. My phone is HTC Wildfire. Missed Reminder never appeared in Market for me (just a wild guess – could the QVGA display be the reason?), but I was able to install one of the previous versions via Fast Web Install. Worked perfectly, but stopped working when I upgraded to Froyo. I tried to install Missed Reminder 0.9.6, but only to find out that Fast Web Install doesn’t work anymore. Please try to make your great utility available via Market! I got kinda used to it
Hi Orange software. I use “Missed Reminder” (last update) on my HTC Desire Android 2.2. It will not “Auto Start” after the phone has been switched off. I’ve put checkmark in the “Autostart”, but I must start the program by opening the program after the phone has been off for the night. Is there a solution to this problem? Otherwise it’s a very good program that works on all other points. Sincerely, George
Ok. I take it back. Got it working. Just had to tweak the settings to not conflict with WidgetLocker screen timeout. HTC Desire 2.1
Worked the first time then stopped with is a shame as it was exactly what I was looking for. HTC DESIRE 2.1.
1. I need to check more than 1 gmail account…….
2. if I enter something wrong (two gmail accounts separated by semi-comma) the program brakes

It doesn’t seem to work for gmail. I have a desire. I use the standard gmail app, but with this app, I don’t even get the normal notifications I used to get previously in the notification bar. Have already put in my email address in the app.

Your app seems great, but it only reminds me once and then never again. I enabled the “Notification Icon” and it shows up nicely after 1 minute, but when I clear it and wait 1 minute it never shows up again.
This can’t be right? My phone is a HTC Desire with Android 2.1.
Also, when I go into the app and disable and then re-enable the service again, I get a new reminder notification.
But still, afterwards I don’t get a second or third reminder. I only get a new reminder if I receive an SMS or get a call.
To me this still doesn’t make sense. IMHO, as long as I have unread SMS a notification should be generated every x minutes.
Hi, I have two email addreses – both are quite important, if I input my gmail address will it also remind me that I have emails from other addresses??
If I input my other email address (which is my work email) instead of gmail address – will it work??
The reminders work only for gmail account..
And they only worl for the PRIMARY gmail account. We have tried and you can not add a second gmail account. It will not remind you of missed emails for any account other than the main gmail account linked to the phone.
Works well, but has a strange and annoying bug if you don’t check a missed notification before you get a second event. It goes crazy, and plays 5-10 notices every 10 to 30 seconds randomly. Only seems to happen if I get a missed call or sms and don’t acknowledge it before another event occurs. Has been happening in the past several revisions. Wish they could fix this!

I too get this strange behavior. I am on an HTC EVO Shift. If I don’t respond to a text before the next notification, when I do finally respond, it does a ton of notifications in a row.
I have the same problem with my Incredible. I think it was present very rarely even before, but since I did the last Android OS update, it happens every time I reply to someone’s text message as soon as I hit send.

Any plans to add time control so it is not going off during the night? I would like to be able to set different times for different reminders. I might want it to remind me I missed a call during the night but not that I got an email from a message board.

I am trying to use missed reminder and the sms notifications won’t work on my Motorola cliq xt. I have 1.5 so why won’t it work? Can u please help me?
What is vibrate script settings I what the longest and strongest setting I googled examples of the settings but could not find anything I need a chart or someting
There is an example right in the app – v100w50v100. v stays for vibrate, w stays for wait and the numbers – are times in milliseconds. so the script does 2 small 100ms vibrates and a 50ms pause between then. anyways, for the strongest and the longest vibrate just specify v3000 – 3 second vibrate should be enough

Droid is 2.1 and this is totally different topic. I have no plans yet to release a special version for 2.x at least not until I’ve got my phone updated to 2.1.

I too have the same problem. Have G1 and now FC every single time. I love this app. Would like to see a fix, other wise I would have to move on to another app.
Could you please check that you have the latest version from the Market? When it force-closes?
