Missed Reminder: Unpublished

Unfortunately had to remove Missed Reminder from the Market, sorry. This app was created quite some time ago for G1 running 1.5 and has not been updated since to work with any recent Android version. The fact that it was working just fine for some people is a lucky coincidence :) With so many devices and Android versions (“oh noes, not teh fragmentation sh*t again!”) it was not realistic to keep it stable and working for everyone. And I’ve got too many complains after the latest gmail update which broke gmail notifications again.

A couple of alternatives:

  1. Missed Reminder is an open-source project – you can grab the sources, make it work and release under your own name.
  2. Give Missed Call a try. It was created ever before Missed Reminder and the developers have put a lot of efforts to keep it up to date.

UPDATE: Due to many requests, I’ve put the latest available .apk to the project’s download page

  1. I visited several blogs but the audio quality for audio songs current
at this web site is in fact excellent.

  2. What’s up to all, how is the whole thing, I think
every one is getting more from this site, and your
views are good in support of new viewers.

  3. I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I
never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made good
content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.

  4. Link exchange is nothing else except it is simply placing the other person’s
blog link on your page at suitable place and other person will
also do same in favor of you.

  5. It’s a pity you don’t have a donate button!

I’d most certainly donate to this brilliant blog!
I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding
your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this site with my Facebook group.

    Talk soon!

  6. Valuable information. Lucky me I found your web site by
chance, and I’m stunned why this twist of fate did not
came about in advance! I bookmarked it.

  7. I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website yourself or did you hire someone
to do it for you? Plz reply as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to know where u got this from. cheers

  8. I love what you done. I still hoping that you can keep updating such a good app. After using android4, I found that this reminder can’t boot the service anymore, My cell phone is SonyErrison MT15i.

  9. Been working great on my New Evo LTE so i was surprised it suddenly stopped working but decided to reinstall and found it gone from the market just today.

    Really loved the app.

Missed Reminder is the best of the ‘missed reminder’ apps that I have found. It is essential to my continued employment that 3AM text msgs wake me up to dispatch me to a downed server. Missed Reminder has never failed me. I thank you for continuing to make it available.

Hi could you please put somebody to work on the missed Reminders the wife and I really miss this applicant please consider updating 5.0 .1

  12. Hi! I loved this program, is the best (paid or not) for the reminders. I hope you put hands to work on it in future.

As a recommendation, I suggest that users that keep using it, DO NOT CHECK GMAIL ALERTS. Becaut it makes the program crash (an least on my Defy) after some kind of phone update.

On mine, it simply doesn´t start any more after that. Without any change for my side.

I keep using it without google alerts. The only that I´ve noticed is that the color of the status led, never changed again…it´s always green.

  13. I play uno, by you guysguys on my ppcppc thanks

  14. I used this app for a couple of months on my Droid X2 and it worked flawlessly. Can you post a link to the file or email it to those of us for whom it does work for? Thanks!

  15. Unfortunate. I actually uninstalled Gmail 2.3.5 and reinstalled Missed Reminder since I find its functionality to be so useful.

  16. What a pity. This was an excellent application. I uninstalled Gmail update 2.3.5 on my Nexus One, but it still does not work. It works if you disable “Missed Gmails”. I’ve seen the last update of “Missed Call” is from May 2010.

  17. I liked your program. It worked well on my HTC incredible until last week. I was disappointed when I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it only to find it missing. Thank you for developing it
